Rahul Gandhi, an immature lying machine, BJP counters
Taking a straight jibe at PM Modi for his Parliament speech on Thursday, in which the Prime Minister attacked Rahul Gandhi for the lack of intellect, Gandhi said that the PM said something which he should not have said. The government also needs to improve and this would not happen without your support. I am new. You are experienced. “What the government is doing on EPF?…this is unfair, EPF is a safety net…people should not destroy it”, he said, adding that he would request the government to withdraw the proposal.

The Prime Minister, while attacking the Opposition for disruption of Parliament, also made an attempt to reach out to them, inviting MPs to benefit the Government by their experience in working for the various tasks before the nation and urging them to pass the crucial pending bills, including the Goods and Service Tax. On the Prime Minister quoting statements by former Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi during his speech, Mr Singhvi charged him with selectively quoting these people and then undermining and sabotaging the very essence of what these people stood for?”The PM quoted selectively from Pt Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhis speeches”. Referring to Rajiv Gandhi’s observation describing Parliament as a place where debates must take place “within certain boundaries” , Modi said: “When Parliament does not work, it is the Opposition which suffers the most since they are stopped from expressing their resentment against a government”.
Finance Minister said Gandhi’ s views are “shaped” by the environment of a political party which has evolved into a “crowd around a family” .
While calling for lawmakers to end their “tu-tu-main-main” in the last few minutes of his speech, Modi transitioned into a mellow tone.
Mr Gandhi had lashed out at PM Modi for resorting to “personal attacks” instead of answering questions on pressing issues he had asked and asserted that he will not been cowed down by it.
“This Prime Minister allows thieves to turn their black money into white under the recent budget’s “fair and lovely scheme”.

Modi recalled how Rahul had in 2013 shown “respect” to the Manmohan Singh Cabinet which include A K Antony, Sharad Pawar and Farooq Abdullah, by tearing in public an Ordinance cleared by it. He is listening to Sushma Ji, Rajnath Ji, I suggest him to listen the voice of India. “It created a network of roads that brought in jobs and prosperity”, Modi said. “We have got the country to such a level that even skilled labour is enjoying being unskilled”, Modi said. “I accept it with all humility, ” he said. when Congress member Kantilal Bhuria said, ” there is a gap between your words and deeds”.
