Carr’s No. 1 target is second-year receiver Amari Cooper, who caught 72 passes for 1,070 yards in his first professional season.
If it’s not enough to get him into roster consideration, it’s the type of play that looks great on a highlight film across the league.
“You can quicken feet; it’s hard to change deliveries”, Arians said. That’s not at all a concern this year, and we were reminded of this Friday. The team breaks camp after Tuesday’s practice. He’s certainly a cornerback to keep an eye on as preseason continues. Kickoff is at 5 p.m.at Lambeau Field.
Obviously, Derek Carr is far and away the starter on this team.
“My thing is, mentally staying sharp and staying critical of myself”. I put in work to make sure that expectation is met and when it’s not, it drives me nuts. It was against deep depth so we can’t get too excited, but he looked poised in the pocket, made good decisions and threw with accuracy.

Arians said the starters will get, at most, 16 to 18 plays against the Chargers. If DeAndre Washington can add that element then the Raiders just got a lot more unsafe with screens and passes to their running backs in 2016.
