Raiders Player May Face Felony Charges For Barking At Police Dog
Oakland Raiders player Ray-Ray Armstrong is under investigation after barking at a police dog.

Armstrong reportedly barked at the dog while lifting his shirt and pounding his chest as he headed for the field during warmups, chief deputy Kevin Kraus said.
On Tuesday night, Raiders coach Jack Del Rio said he hadn’t spoken with Armstrong, and understood, in general, why the charges against a police dog would be so severe. “The deputy was trying to control the dog the best she could”. Under state law, it is a third-degree felony “for any person to willfully or maliciously taunt, torment, tease, beat, kick or strike a police animal” and law enforcement officials were expected to meet to decide if Armstrong should be charged.
The sheriff’s office has notified both teams and the National Football League and obtained surveillance video from the stadium.
When Armstrong was asked about the investigation Tuesday in Oakland, he declined comment on the incident.
Bandit’s handler, Maria Watts, told WTAE Pittsburgh that the animal was “very agitated” by Armstrong’s actions. So since Goodell has done nothing, not even said anything, the implication I understand is that this sort of behavior is acceptable.
Oakland went on to lose the game at Heinz Field, with Steelers kicker Chris Boswell nailing an 18-yard field goal with two seconds remaining to secure a 38-35 win for the home side.
“I’ve caught wind of this story”.

The sheriff’s office has met with the district attorney’s office, but hasn’t decided whether to pursue criminal charges. “I wouldn’t make too much of it”. “The Sheriff’s Office is now reviewing all of the information and reports to make a final determination relating to charges”.
