Rainbow Moon and Rainbow Skies Headed to PS4 in 2016
SideQuest Studios hopes to recapture the magic of those old school RPGs with Rainbow Skies after the relative success of their previous title Rainbow Moon.

Rainbow Moon is an addictive role-playing game filled with exploration, turn-based battles, and character development. The sequel will come with cross save support on PS4, Vita, and PS3 though such a system for the Rainbow Moon is unlikely.
Rainbow Skies will also have a focus on storytelling, and Marcus Pukropski said the story will be told through “easy-to-read dialogue that’s entertaining and, in the case of certain characters, extremely amusing”. The blog post claimed that aside from enlisting the help of a script writer, there is also an original monologue system that would result to more lively conversations during the game. Rainbow Skies is expected to release in the second half of 2016, giving players enough time to finish Rainbow Moon before it comes out. We have also implemented numerous new animations, emoticons, and conversation-specific icons that help convey the feelings and moods that our heroes undergo during their journey.
Players who wish to try “Rainbow Moon” can also access it for free through PS+.
More news about the “Rainbow Skies” will be issued within the year as a build up for its official release, according to The Vita Net.
Advancements for Skies include a better dialogue system, more complex narratives, and the ability to skip any conversation (while the game keeps a log of everything for you).

While there is no exact release date given out yet, Purkopski says players can rest assured that they are working on a game that won’t be short of fun and lots of adventures.
