“Thank you to everyone who has been participating in the Rainbow Six Siege Closed Beta thus far” the developer wrote on the game’s blog.
Many players, including myself, have since also been sent emails announcing the extension, as well as a handful of additional keys to share with friends, these will be redeemable until October 2.
Ubisoft also added that this is one of the largest betas the company has ever done, and they have identified areas for improvement of their dedicated servers.
After rolling out different videos and other such things, the publisher kicked off last week a special closed beta stage across all three platforms, i.e. PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
“Rainbow Six: Siege” full version is slated to be released on December 1. Good for you! You get an extra weekend out of it!
Likewise, to help get new players up to speed, there will be a Double Renown event happening this Friday at 8PM EST. Ubisoft is working on fixing the errors and reports improved matchmaking success overall.
Previously, the only way to get in was to preorder the game yourself.

This is somewhat due to a few people with pre-order access not recieving their codes in a timely manner, but Ubisoft has mostly sorted out the issue. You can play against enemy AI in co-op through all the maps.
