The main objective of this closed beta is to test out matchmaking and online infrastructure, so there may be some hiccups here and there, which will then be addressed before the 1st of December release date for the game. “We’ll be adding new people every day, so be sure to check your email regularly”, reads Straight’s post.
“If you’re not able to join a game under 90 seconds, we recommend you to quit the lobby and try again until you succeed”, said Ubisoft.
The Closed Beta will kick off on September 24th around 9am Eastern and will run through Monday, September 28th. There will also be 14 operators (classes) and three different game modes including, Secure Area, Disarm Bomb, and Terrorist Hunt Classic, which is the more classic Rainbow Six experience.

Whenever players do get into the beta, Ubisoft warns that matchmaking will be a bit crap. And access will be granted gradually so don’t expect to be let in to the beta as soon as some of your friends have access.
