Rainbow Skies was released on PS3 and Vita in 2015 and it will feature Cross-Save support for all current PlayStation platforms.

Eastasiasoft Limited and development partner SideQuest Studios have revealed that Rainbow Skies and Rainbow Moon are now in development for the PS4.

When people think of role-playing games, they think of something like Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, or Breath of Fire. The announcement comes from CEO Marcus Pukropski, who also announced that the game’s predecessor “Rainbow Moon” will also be ported to PlayStation 4. Up to four characters can speak simultaneously which leads to much more lively conversations.

Pukropski says the game was created after the team received and learned from a lot of feedback that players offered for “Rainbow Moon“, which will also be re-released “sometime” in 2016.

New changes coming to the PS4 version include a new, “more complex”, dialogue system (which replaces the original monologue system), along with new animations and emoticons, and new action clips that are played when the user reaches certain checkpoints. For those of you that prefer to focus on the gameplay, rest assured all conversations can be skipped at any time.
