Helmed by ace director Neeraj Pandey, produced by Arun Pandey and Fox Star studios, M.S Dhoni – The Untold Story is all set to release on September 30th, 2016. However, the plan might now be in trouble with Chitrapat Karmachari Sena (CKS), the film affairs wing of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, reportedly expressing their objection to the move.

The film, which is based on Indian cricket skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has already been dubbed in Tamil and Telugu.
But as per a popular daily, a popular political party in Maharashtra is not happy with this decision and has written to Fox Entertainment against the release of the film in Marathi. Khopkar also requested filmmakers not to dub the movie.
Plans to release Marathi dubbed version of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story starring Sushant Singh Rajput in Maharashtra might not go as smoothly as makers expected. In fact, I am planning to watch it. In view of his celebrity status and fan base, they had chose to release the film in multiple languages.
The latter added that every film maker may follow the same example as MS Dhoni film makers and the Marathi film Industry would find it tough to survive. “If they do not take back this dubbed version we will protest in a democratic way”.
He also said ” Let them make a Marathi movie on MS Dhoni and release it, we have no issue, but a dubbed version we won’t allow. “If one producer releases his film in Marathi, it will pave the way for the others too”.
This is the first time she has featured in any promotional poster or trailer of the movie.
