The Kashmiri activist’s reaction came as Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the visit of the all-party delegation to Kashmir.

The minister distanced himself from attempts of chief minister Mehbooba Mufti and other leaders to persuade the separatists for talks. It can not be called insaniyat (humanity). “When opposition party leaders, who believe in democratic principles, went to the Hurriyat leaders to talk they refused to do so, because they are against insaniyat and Kashmiriyat and don’t believe in Jamooriyat”, BJP leader Prem Shukla told ANI. Whatever transpired there and on the basis of information given to us by members of the delegation, I can say that the response does not reflect Kashmiriyat.
The all-party delegation led by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh also visited Jammu to meet people from cross sections of the society, including 15 non-political delegations. The meeting will be chaired by Home Minister Rajnath Singh at 11 am in Parliament Annexe.
Sources said the members of the all-party delegation are likely to meet here tomorrow to discuss their findings during their visit and chalk out future plans for Jammu and Kashmir.
Miffed over the cold shoulder treatment given by separatists to the MPs, who were part of the all-party delegation that visited the state, the Centre is considering moves to curb their foreign travel by withdrawing their passports and denying travel documents in some cases.

Singh asserted that “the doors and windows for dialogue” on Kashmir were always open but ruled out any talks with Pakistan on the issue in near future saying, “Let us first talk with the people within our country”. The violence broke out after the killing of Hizbul Mujahiddin terrorist Burhan Wani on July 8.
