Almost 100 protesters and police were injured in clashes Friday as authorities sought to block a rally called by separatist groups opposed to Indian rule, officials said.

The VOA quoting the Afghan Defence Ministry said this disclosure was made during a meeting between the Afghan and Pakistani military officials in Kabul on Tuesday.

Earlier, in held Kashmir, the top Hurriyat leadership extended the strike call till Sunday (July 31) asking the people to hold sit-in protests against civilian killings. “He is “ameer” of LeT”, said Hazif Saeed, the founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
He added that Washington was in close touch with New Delhi.
“The envoys will be prepared to play an effective role in highlighting the Kashmir issue in the countries where they have been send as envoys”, she said. “It is a big and long struggle”, he said, “So it is responsibility of rich and affluent people to ensure distribution of essential items amongst those who are needy”. Islamabad’s efforts to get global attention focused on Kashmir too has resulted in spiking tension with India.
Particularly, the military in Pakistan, which by and large controls Pakistan’s foreign policy, supports any policy that can internationalize the Kashmir question: “The military’s corporate identity and interests are linked to projecting itself as Pakistan’s only savior against the “evil” designs of India”. Indian government is always finding a way to escape form dialogues to resolve Kashmir dispute.
The occupation authorities continued to impose strict curfew and other restrictions in the Kashmir Valley on the 21st consecutive day today to stop people from conducting the march.

The JI Ameer asked the rulers to play their due role and support the Kashmir cause at the global level.
