Rally against Roosh V meet-up Saturday still a go
This was only one of 165 meetings planned worldwide of a backward, self-proclaimed cult led by a man named Daryush Valizadeh, also known as Roosh V. Though the BBC described Valizadeh as a “pick-up artist”, in reality, he is a social terrorist.

The article caused outrage across the world, and drew attention to dozens of meetings that he had planned across the country for men that focus on men “taking back” their masculinity.
She added that what Valizadeh wants would hurt victims and let the rapist go free to hurt others. And when protesters started rallying against his meetings, he chose to hide meeting locations and even came up with a protocol to ensure that only those intending to attend a meet-up will be allowed into the said events.
Ms Bradley said the comments and views associated with Mr Valizadeh and the Return of Kings are “absolutely repulsive”.
The aftermath of rape is often more horrendous than the act of sexual assault.
After Return of Kings, an anti-feminist website whose founder wrote that raping women in private should be legalized and considered “a learning experience”, was planning a meet-up, the Newsgirls wanted to meet them, too. Now, there is a bolded disclaimer, insisting “How to Stop Rape” was not to be taken seriously.
“This has no place in British society”, she said.
“Donald Trump comes the closest to what I think is true”, Valizadeh said.
“We showed the entire MRA, PUA and neo-masculine movements that they are not welcome, and should we see them in person, they’ll never forget the experience (to put it politely)”, organizers said on the event’s Facebook page. We are finally getting somewhere and I am so proud to be included in your community. Following the press conference, Valizadeh seemed more interested in getting in touch with his fanbase, however large or small. (I can assure the user who said I weigh 125 pounds that he is off by about 24 percent.) The press conference will serve as a reminder that the internet remains fundamentally risky terrain, populated with subcultures that could only thrive in a non-material space. The Irvine Spectrum was the location of one meeting, one of hundreds around the world. But by all accounts, the number of people who actually follow Daryish Valizadeh is smaller than it looks. Who knows for sure?

The group purportedly advocates for men’s dominance over women. “Valizadeh is also the author of several self-published books that give men advice on how to have sex with women in various different countries”.
