Rally for early voting in Cumberland County planned for Thursday

Election Day is November 8 and polling locations will be open from 7 a.m.to 7 p.m. 10 sites across the city have been selected as early voting centers to encourage maximum voter turnout.

Across Florida, voting precincts are scheduled to be open from 7 a.m.to 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Individual members of those boards will be able to offer competing plans that either expand or curtail early voting hours.

Throughout this month, voting rights advocates have packed local elections board meetings in many counties to press for more early voting sites and early voting on Sundays.
