The Real Housewives of NY season finale airs tonight, and viewers will finally see the big moment we’ve been waiting for with baited breath: Bethenny Frankel showing Luann de Lesseps photos of her fiancé, Tom D’Agostino, Jr., kissing another woman just days after they got engaged. Luann calls Tom right away and asks him to explain himself, but he says he doesn’t remember. “Where we go together, where people we know go?'” Bethenny concludes: “It was all about the headlines”. “I know in my heart of hearts that he loves me”. The news was confirmed by fellow Housewife Dorinda Medley.
Who would have thought we’d ever live to see Ramona Singer as the voice of reason?!
For his part, Tom told the magazine, “If I could take it back, I would. I think that Luann and Dorinda and Jules [Wainstein] chose to focus more on how I told that information, versus why”. “Her handling of the situation – and I go over this at the reunion – was bad”, referring to how Frankel spilled the sticky situation to RHONY‘s Ramona Singer and Carole Radziwill, before going to de Lesseps. I understand Lu loves Tom, but perhaps love has made her need a pair of John’s flashlight glasses? She learned from Bethenny and brought the receipts. And after a RHONY season filled with fights, an explosive reunion (airing on August 31st), and the unfortunate fact that Frankel was the one who presented de Lesseps with photographic evidence of D’Agostino, we have to admit that having her sit front and center during the “I do’s” might be a little, uh, awkward.
On last week’s episode, a conflicted Bethenny, 45, finally confronted Luann with the incriminating images of Tom and another woman.
“Obviously, if it happens again, I would have a serious problem with that”, she said.

The finale of “The Real Housewives of New York” season 8 is set to be aired on Bravo TV on August 24 at 9 p.m.
