Rampaging Golden State Warriors beat Phoenix Suns to return to winning ways

Led by a rampant Klay Thompson, who had a season-high 43 points, the Warriors broke the back of the Suns during the late portion of the second quarter to stretch their lead to 59-46 at the halftime break.

Luke Walton’s side were 24-0 and poised to end a seven-game road trip unbeaten when they headed to Milwaukee on Saturday but were handed a shock defeat that leaves them in the unusual position of being on a losing run.

1995-96 Bulls’ record through 26 games: 23-3.

“It’s important to have tangible goals that you can look at and work for”, Curry said.

“My heart can take the pounding, My mind can handle the grind, But my body knows it’s time to say goodbye”, Bryant wrote in a poem announcing his decision. Their simultaneous hot streaks pulled Suns defenders back and forth between them, until they finally snapped and simply succumbed to the world-class offensive outburst they were witnessing. “And it’s like, ‘Alright, you’re going to see us next Friday and in our building, too.’ ” Thompson will be coming off a seaon-high 43-point performance against the Suns, 27 of which came in the third quarter alone. Golden State is 11-0 at Oracle, its best home start since a franchise-best 12-0 to begin 1975-76. And as they got ragged, their play turned stilted, sloppy.

Thompson’s recent run of play has been a welcome development for a team looking to get less “Steph heavy”.

Curry, Thompson, and Green all sat in the fourth quarter. “It’s a very deserved nickname because he comes out and he gives everything that he has, but he’s also a big voice for us, so he’s a good guy to have around”.

So, yes, in some ways the Warriors season is now more normal than it was when they were undefeated.

That’s what he did when he went up over Rudy Gobert, Utah’s 7-foot-2 center, to bring down a crucial defensive rebound in the final few seconds of a one-possession game in Salt Lake City on November 30. “He’s a competitor. He wants to win”.

Then the Splash Brothers got it going, and that was all she wrote.

Whatever the case, these are the ugly facts from the Suns’ loss on Wednesday night.

Golden State won its eighth in a row at home against Phoenix, fifth straight overall and 13th in 16.

While all talk has rightly been about the Warriors, San Antonio Spurs are 21-5 for the year and have the best point differential out of any side, GSW included.

As the Warriors keep racking up wins and chasing another championship, their formula for success is far from a mystery. They’re going to need a Draymond Green.
