Rams relocation approved by NFL
Oakland was given another shot to keep the Raiders. That means the franchise’s choices essentially are to move to L.A. for the 2016 season, relocate there for the 2017 season or remain in San Diego.

“Work will now begin on a new $1.86bn stadium at a site in Inglewood with the view of completing it by 2019, with the Rams set to play at the LA Coliseum in the meantime”.
A report that said Spanos was nearing an agreement with Rams owner Stan Kroenke on the framework of a deal to leave San Diego was “overblown”, Fabiani said.
“The flexibility of the district allows for the NFL to develop office and studio space for NFL Network, NFL Media and NFL Digital, allowing them dynamic new space to grow just three miles from their current Culver City location”.
The Oakland Raiders, who also wanted to move to the area, could move to Los Angeles if San Diego doesn’t, Commissioner Roger Goodell said. My “Ram-ily” out here wouldn’t let the dream die, and now we’re waking up to a new reality.
But that’ll never happen, especially with all the TV coverage we get these days.
The team’s owner, Stan Kroenke, plans to build a stadium in Inglewood, Calif.
“The ownership personally believes the project in Hollywood Park is the kind of project that is going to make us successful in Los Angeles long-term”, Goodell said.
“For something for 3 years to be able to celebrate while we get the Inglewood stadium done”.
CNN was unable to get immediate answers on ticket costs for when the Rams move to Los Angeles. “I will not be completely, fully thrilled until the ink dries on paper and we know we’re staying in Oakland in a new stadium”, Perez said.
Why am I happy that the Rams are back in L.A.? “In particular, we are interested in their justification for departing so significantly from the NFL’s guidelines after St. Louis had, in record time, presented a proposal for a first-class stadium”.
“The NFL owners tonight proved the return of the Los Angeles Rams to the market, starting with the 2016 season”. But the return stay has not been almost as successful as the first tenure when the Raiders won two Super Bowls and were one of the league’s top teams. Their matchup with the Rams is one of Buffalo’s road games in 2016. The team has failed to post a winning record or make the playoffs in the 18 other seasons. The city-county proposal calls for the Chargers to contribute $353 million with the National Football League adding another $200 million in a loan, plus the $100 million in new money.
The Coliseum, however, isn’t exactly a brand new venue.
In a statement on Tuesday night, Raiders owner Mark Davis said that the Raiders will now turn their attention to exploring all options to find a permanent stadium solution.
“Today is an opportunity for a fresh start”, he said.

Faulconer’s top political strategist, Jason Cabel Roe, has said that if the Chargers resume negotiations, they need to come without Fabiani because he has no credibility with elected officials.
