Rams say they have a ‘few players in mind’ for No. 1
For that privilege, LA gave up six selections including their first-round picks this year and next, as well as two second-rounders, one in the third and another in the third round of next year, while the Titans also turned over fourth and sixth round selections this year as part of the deal. And in 2017, they will have only one pick – a second-rounder – on the first two days of that draft.

Of course, if the Rams get a quarterback who turns into an elite player, the cost will have been worth it, and the Titans still have to make smart picks.
The general reaction has been somewhat positive for both sides, which is rare in todays day and age. One report suggests the Philadelphia Eagles could be in play for making a trade deal with the Cleveland Browns for the No. 2 overall pick. “There’s not enough (quarterbacks) on the planet to feed 32 National Football League teams, so that is the challenge”.
But Titans general manager Jon Robinson is optimistic regarding the recent trade which he believes will help them “maximize player acquisition”. They were involved in a trade with the Tennessee Titans, the team that previously held the first overall pick. Then there are conflicting reports regarding whether the LA Rams like Carson Wentz or Jared Goff at No. 1 over all selection.
Goff has a leaner build, probably a stronger arm but he seems to have lapses in focus and concentration which lead to phases of mistakes and completely missing receivers. So that 69.8 number represents the marginal approximate value of all the Titans’ new picks, for the first five years. We did, however, acquire one of those (second-round picks) through a trade past year. All we ask is that each participant is respectful in both their responses and towards others. “We appreciate his commitment as we continue to improve our roster and lay the foundation for our future through this year’s draft”.
Nonetheless, the fact that the Rams were actually able to make a move like this shows that they are serious about contending as early as possible and that they don’t intend to let the move to California slow them down any time soon. More than likely, they are going to select a quarterback.
Tennessee will pick at Nos.

According to Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times, the Rams’ have narrowed in on spending their newly acquired pick on Carson Wentz of North Dakota State. And if you have any specific nonsense you’d like us to discuss in an upcoming podcast, or if you just want to tell us how much you love or despise us, hit me and/or Andy up on Twitter. Wentz’s hands were measured at ten inches in width – an inch bigger than Goff’s.
