Rams want new stadium to cater to Red Zone, fantasy fans

While the Chargers worked closely with the Raiders to develop a proposal that revolved around the two franchises building a stadium in Carson, California, the joint effort fell flat.

“The new stadium will likely inject thousands of jobs into the local economy during the construction phase, as well as many new jobs post-completion”, Moody’s said. “There will be life without the Rams here in St. Louis, I can assure you that”.

The Raiders lost out on the opportunity to move to Los Angeles this week, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the team will be playing in Oakland next season. “Today, with the National Football League returning home, Los Angeles cements itself as the epicenter of the sports world”, he said. They will then be moving to a new stadium in 2019, once construction is completed for them.

The St. Louis NFL Stadium Task Force, a creation of Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon (D), offered to spend more than 0 million in taxpayer money to build Kroenke and the Rams a new stadium. They also gave the go-ahead to the owners of the San Diego Chargers – led by majority share holding billionaire Alex Spanos – until 2017 to decide if they want to move the team to Los Angeles. If the Chargers move, the team also would want to be in on the project as early as possible to exert maximum influence and reap maximum benefit. That’s actually less than 10 miles from Los Angeles.

However, the Los Angeles Times’ Sam Farmer, via the Los Angeles Times’ Nathan Fenno, cited three sources who said a framework has been in place since last weekend. She was in favor of the public plunking down another $400 million to build a stadium to keep the Rams in St. Louis, even though there is a near-consensus in the academic literature that stadiums provide no economic benefit.

Goodell says NFL policy limits the league’s contribution to $100 million, and Kroenke has largely ignored the plan.

Oakland is still in debt from a renovation 20 years ago when the Raiders moved back from Los Angeles.

Rather than waiting for next season’s release of the game, players can take advantage of the “Franchise relocation feature” of Madden 16 to make the move immediately. The closest stadium option to the Coliseum would be the “Basic Traditional Stadium” but there are others to choose from including more futuristic looking ones that would be closer in nature to what they’ll eventually play in. “They need to take a fresh look at this market and make sure they’re really involved in all aspects of Southern California”.
