Dutch fitness coach Raymond Verheijen has told Aaron Ramsey to leave Arsenal if the Gunners can not solve their injury problems, asking the midfielder why he is gambling with his career by staying at the club. Wenger is set to give an official update on the injuries during his news conference on Thursday. The midfielder suffered the injury during Arsenal’s 3-4 loss against Liverpool at Emirates. The midfielder was hoping to carry on his form from the Euros, which saw him being included in the team and he did impress in the first-half against Liverpool, before being replaced on the hour mark with the injury.

The Gunners are having an injury crisis at the start of the season.
The double session will go some way to addressing that but will not fix the issues with long-term absentees Per Mertesacker and Gabriel. The Frenchman later admitted that he took a risk by playing Ramsey. It’s a very hard situation to sort out because the players come back late because of the Euros and, on top of that, you play them and they get injured.
“Arsene Wenger is not the only person who should become conscious incompetent”.

Laurent Koscielny will be a week further on in his post-Euro 2016 recovery when Arsenal head to Leicester on Saturday afternoon but before then Wenger is also targeting another defensive addition. The trio was given an extended rest following their Euro 2016 campaign in the summer.
