Rand Paul’s campaign chose to livestream a presidential candidate’s typical day of Iowa campaigning Tuesday, in all its glorious monotony.

Republican presidential candidate Rand Paul may not be having the best of times when it comes to the polls, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to stop experimenting with ways to connect with voters.

Paul appeared most exasperated when he answered the third question, which he said was the most popular search about him on Google: Is Rand Paul still running for president?

Russian President Vladimir Putin slammed America for its lack of cooperation in the sky over Syria.

“This is not live [and] we can’t edit this, right?” he asked after reading off another question about his current polling numbers. Which of course begs the question, how can you be livestreamed all day long when you’re not?

“I’ve been saying, ‘I don’t want to do this, I don’t want to do this, ‘” he quipped. Paul said nearly immediately afterward, while someone giggled off-screen.

If you’ve “liked” the campaign’s Facebook page, you’ll get a prompt notification regarding when the live stream commences.

The Paul campaign’s Chief Digital Strategist Vincent Harris told Rare, “In an effort to continue his efforts to run the most digital savvy and transparent campaign on either side of the aisle, Sen”. At one point, as the campaign drove through rural Iowa to a campaign event, Paul’s staffers talked at length about Iowa industries and corn, while it was unclear if Paul was even in the vehicle.

Asked by a reporter why he was live-streaming the entire day, Paul said that he wasn’t quite sure. “But I’ve had fun with it”.
