Rand Paul unloads on Donald Trump’s ‘pitiful’ attacks after fierce debate clash

Paul addressed his rival on Fox News the morning after the debate and called Trump “sophomoric”.

Many of his views are attractive to the youthful voter, Paul said. Andy Sanborn, co-chairman of the 2012 campaign in his state, where Ron Paul placed second, supports Rand Paul’s campaign strategy and believes he ultimately will surge.

“I continue to be one of the leading proponents for term limits”, he said.

“I’ve made billions and billions of dollars dealing with people all over the world”, he said in his opener, vowing to use the same technique to “make our country rich again”.

“If you want boots on the ground, and you want them to be our sons and daughters, you’ve got 14 other choices”, Paul said referring to the rest of the GOP field.

“It takes a while”, he said. “And I think these are the kinds of things we probably ought to be discussing”.
