Range Rover Evoque Convertible teasers kick off with wireframe sculptures

The fact that everyone thought that the Range Rover Evoque Convertible would never arrive only proves to us that we were all wrong as it’s arriving.

Land Rover recently teased the Evoque Convertible as 1:1 scale 3D wireframe models. The crossover will be offered in a 3-door body style and it will be coming with the same engine lineup as the facelifted Evoque, meaning that we should expect all units under its hood. However, this will most likely become a best-seller considering the fact that it has been based on the Evoque and signed by Land Rover.

The film demonstrates how Land Rover’s engineers have rigorously tested the four-wheel drive Convertible to ensure it delivers the all-terrain capability the brand is renowned for.

“The Range Rover Evoque Convertible is perfectly suited to the urban surroundings of a city like London and it’s the ideal place to showcase the world’s first luxury compact SUV convertible”. It will employ 400 staff and the first Evoque is expected to come of the production line early next year.

Is the Range Rover Evoque convertible genuinely any good off road?

To back that with solid figures, Range Rover has also stated the Evoque will be able to make its way through even 20-inches of water. It got four seats, a power retractable soft top and 21 inch wheels.
