Ranieri backs Chelsea to finish in top four

Chelsea midfielder Ramires celebrated his side’s progress in the Champions League by writing: “Well done, guys”.

The game of the week for me is Leicester City hosting Chelsea on Monday night.

After Chelsea, the Foxes are away at Everton and Liverpool, before hosting Manchester City.

The partnership of Vardy and Mahrez has been a revelation this season with the duo racking up an impressive 24 goals between them. Rather than searching for some higher, intellectual appreciation of their way of playing, Leicester City are taking the English top flight by storm with honest, simple and effective football. Tony Pulis will set up his West Brom side to do this, but over 90 minutes Liverpool should have the quality, especially with Philippe Coutinho on the pitch, to at least score once, which ought to be enough for the points. It is just insane.

With his elusive dribbling and mesmerising feet, Mahrez has quickly become one of the Premier League’s most entertaining talents.

Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish believes Crystal Palace can win the Premier League title within the next 15 years.

With the Premier League now fast approaching the half way point, it’s been a remarkable season so far.. As we have seen this season, this chaos certainly holds true. The 1-1 draw extended Villa’s winless streak to 14 games since the opening day, but the bottom-place team did collect only its second point since August.

Manchester United have joined Tottenham in showing a strong interest in Fulham’s 19-year-old forward Moussa Dembele.

Leicester should be odds on to finish in the top four. Last year, it was Leicester City. First of all, I love the Watford logo, although I am a little confused as to why it shows a moose when the team is referred to as the Hornets.

“That is good because sometimes you speak and you explain and players don’t always receive this message”. Despite the qualification to the Champions League Round of 16 for Jose Mourinho’s men, they are still barely keeping their heads above water in the Premier League. It is nothing personal, but I am so glad your team is doing so poorly.

“I’m not surprised because I knew I could do the things that I have done”, Mahrez said.

Now, Leicester have 32 to Chelsea’s 15. I’m mainly just pointing this out because I fully expect the Foxes to hammer the Blues.

“Look at Manchester City too”.

Liverpool takes on Leicester on December 26. It seems as if there are only a handful of players in the Premier League that would play regularly for teams such as Bayern Munich, Barcelona, or Real Madrid. His star striker Jamie Vardy has gone from virtually unknown to world-famous in a matter of months and I suspect many of his teammates are experiencing the same relative changes in notoriety this season.
