Ranieri hopes Leicester avoid rude awakening at Arsenal
Leicester City will be wary of a reality check when the Premier League front-runners visit Arsenal on Sunday before Tottenham Hotspur’s burgeoning title ambitions come under scrutiny at Manchester City.

“You don’t have to be some super mathematician to see it is a very important game”.
“None of the two (Gabriel or Koscielny) is a real commander”. “I never thought in my life I’d be saying this, but they can win the league and deserve a lot of credit”.
“We want to find a consistency in our results until the end of the season, because we have big game after big game now”.
While it looks likely the title will be contested by the current top four, Manchester United are lurking in fifth place, six behind City, and are still eyeing a Champions League spot.
With Leicester now as title favourites, it will be interesting to see how they handle the pressure that accompanies that tag.
And Ranieri is all too aware of the plethora of talent at Wenger’s disposal.
The fans of the Foxes are planning to wait until five minutes in to reach their seats at the Emirates in protest of the decision to move the game from Saturday afternoon to noon on Sunday, at very short notice, at the behest of TV networks. “We would hope in the light of the Liverpool situation they will deliver something meaningful”, said Football Supporters Federation chairman Malcolm Clarke.
Wenger delivered less positive prognoses on Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla, who have been sidelined with long-term leg and knee injuries respectively.
According to Sports Illustrated, this date can be pointed to as the exact moment Leicester City began to turn things around on the field.
Claudio Ranieri’s side widened their lead at the top of the table to five points with their comprehensive win over Manchester City last weekend. – Arsenal have won their last eight home Premier League meetings with Leicester City.
“Along with their fire brigade chums they might think this is amusing, but you can rest assured that is not how I would describe their good fortune…” Let us know in the comments.
Although Arsenal have had a relatively frugal season, signing only Petr Cech last summer and Mohamed Elneny in January, they are expected to field a team including the likes of £42.5million midfielder Mesut Ozil and £35million forward Alexis Sanchez on Sunday.
