Leicester lost 2-1 at Watford in the Premier League on Saturday – their sixth defeat of the campaign – and now sit just two points above the relegation zone in 14th place.

Which team has had the most Premier League wins in 2016?

“The good thing is that we didn’t give up after they got their goal”. Remarkably, their points tally in Europe is greater than their domestic total of 12 after 12 games.

“I enjoy the Champions League like the Premier League”.

Juve won 3-1 at 10-man Europa League champions Sevilla; Olympique Lyon prevailed 1-0 at Dinamo Zagreb; Copenhagen drew 0-0 with Porto; and Leverkusen drew 1-1 at CSKA Moscow.

After winning the ball back in his own half, Izquierdo set off on a charging run down Brugge’s right flank before thumping a shot high past Zieler at his near post. The match has ended with the result of Leicester City’s three-goal win. The midfielder played the full game as the Foxes wrote another chapter in their fairytale rise.

Lemar put Monaco back in front a minute later with an angled shot and but for some tremendous saves by Tottenham’s France goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, who saved an early Radamel Falcao penalty, the hosts would have won easily.

Leicester City starting XI: Zieler, Simpson, Huth, Morgan, Fuchs, Mahrez, Drinkwater, King, Albrighton, Okazaki, Vardy.

“For Leicester to be newcomers and finish group winners it is an wonderful achievement”.

“We achieved the third position (in the group) but of course now we want to achieve something more”.

“We felt very comfortable – 2-0 up going into half-time, we just wanted to maintain our performance. We are very proud”. I don’t know where, but we’re excited.

Ranieri also insisted that he isn’t thinking as far ahead as to what benefit it would be for his team to finish top of the group, declaring himself “only focused” on Tuesday’s clash with Brugge. It wasn’t that easy, especially after it went 2-1 but we did it and we’re very happy to be first.

“The relegation is very close to us and we have to react”, Ranieri said after the loss to Watford. “If we take into consideration the whole quality of the game then today was one of the best games he has played”, he added.
