Ranieri not concerned by Real Madrid interest in Vardy
Tottenham are planning a surprise January offer for Leicester City’s prolific frontman Jamie Vardy, as per the Mirror.

‘At the beginning I was curious to see how my players understood me and how I understood them.
“We have a big cup game to look forward to and also for our travelling fans, because they would be frustrated (about Saturday) and disappointed like I am”.
Vardy’s pretty great, and I like him a lot, but this is #batcountry in its purest form.
“We don’t sell him, he’s very happy here and it’s too early to speak about it”.
This season has undoubtedly been Vardy’s best, as his sharp shooting and work ethic has made him a standout at Leicester.
Hangeland gifted possession to Mahrez and he picked out Vardy, who dinked the ball over Hennessey and slotted into the empty net. In fact, only Robert Lewandowski and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang have bagged more goals in Europe’s top five leagues so far.
In September, Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri had promised his side that he would buy them pizza to reward their first clean sheet of the season.
– Danny Drinkwater recorded 88 touches in this game; no Leicester City player has managed more in a single PL matches this season. Only the last 10 minutes was end to end like an English match.
Palace manager Alan Pardew agreed, adding that his team were masters of their own downfall.
Asked about the risk of the England striker starting to believe his own hype, Ranieri said: “I think he’s a nice boy”.
“We were in Cardiff and I lost against Arsenal”. Leicester weren’t really going anywhere and it was a mistake that cost us the game.
