The cliffhanger could potentially also lead to another antihero film like “Suicide Squad”, wherein the couple psychopaths are the main protagonists.

Despite being banned in one of the largest movie markets in the world and receiving a number of unfavorable reviews, “Suicide Squad” is expected to bring in big money at the box office. She’s a tough, fearless, cunning, cold-blooded, calculating, take-no-prisoners taskmaster. Given the fact that she proves with her plunge into the ACE chemicals that she will do ANYTHING for her Mr J, the idea of him getting her to confess to take some of the heat off him would absolutely fit. How manipulative is Amanda? She’s the iron hand keeping everyone on the team in line, along with Joel Kinneman’s Rick Flag.

Waller is desperate for protection. The Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), an evil spirit with whom Waller is well-acquainted, is out to eliminate the human race.

The Joker’s role in the film is pretty much relegated to backstory and a mission to get Harley Quinn back by his side. The Joker has nearly no screen time (um, what happened to the scene that was shot on Lakeshore Blvd. last summer and why does the Yonge St. chase only amount to five seconds of screen time?).

At one point in the film, Leto’s Joker actually succeeds in “rescuing” Harley from the Squad, but the helicopter he uses to do so goes down. Sure, she physically looks the part, but Robbie’s performance is full of substance and nuance.

Half-way through SUICIDE SQUAD the Joker finds himself involved in a little helicopter crash, after which the character disappears from the film until the end. Even when he’s standing next to Robbie’s Quinn, which it quite a spectacle itself. From taking a jab at previous DC movies to an appearance of what might be another comic book villain, here are six Suicide Squad Easter Eggs you might have missed amidst the film’s glorious action pieces.

Written and directed by David Ayer and based on the characters from DC Comics, the film was produced by Charles Roven and Richard Suckle, with Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Colin Wilson and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.
