When asked if he thinks the movie will prove to be a milestone in his career, Ranveer said, “I always see how much forward have I moved with a film”. Period dramas are hard to make and especially when you are adding the element of love and romance in it, the film often loses the ground realities, which history has warrior like Peshwa Bajirao. In Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film, everything is grand and huge. Deepika said that she saw Ranveer on-screen, in the “Band Baaja Baraat” trailer while the actor saw his ladylove for an award event and immediately fall for her.
“I don’t know what Shah Rukh Khan means when he says BAJIRAO MASTANI is niche, but what I can definitely say is that they are two different kinds of films. I have just been approached for it, but I haven’t signed it yet”, confirmed Padukone, who admitted that she is excited about the story. The constant love and support of the audience motivates me to get better and better at my craft and become the best entertainer I can be.
The actress also talked about her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, with whom she recently shared screen in Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha. So, this is a losing situation for both the films.
Despite the hype and hoopla surrounding the films and the trade analysis of the box office war, there is actually NO clash between the releases.
The budget of both films is also well over Rs. 100 crore.
After facing many hurdles, this movie will be released on December 18, 2015 worldwide and one of the popular censor board member and distributors in Dubai, Kiaara Sandhu had already watched the film and heaped praises on this film.
The distributors are hopeful of striking gold somehow.
However, the local distributors have, reportedly, called for a full board review of the film, once again and the board has agreed to review it previous decision.

“We were confident that “Dilwale” will do well in north India, especially since we have the prime territory of national capital with us”. That factor will immensely work in favour of their box office collections.
