Busta Rhymes has been arrested following a fight in a gym.

According to New York Daily News, the gym’s employee was hit in the back of the head but did not sustain serious injuries. The show star was charged with assault within the 2nd degree after his arrest & it’s believed in that he’s nonetheless in jail.

“It’s ridiculous, it was literally a bottle of Muscle Milk“, a lawyer representing the musician said.

Busta’s lawyer, Scott Leemon, has responded, calling the allegations “a bunch of bull”.

It’s been suggested the two people were entangled in a dispute before last night’s argument.

Authorities say 43-year-old Rhymes, whose real name is Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr., was arrested around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

One bodybuilder told New York Daily News that the unknown person who argued with the rapper worked on the front desk.

The following February, Busta Rhymes refused a plea deal for allegedly assaulting his former driver, which would have seen him spend six months behind bars.

“Things got heated. Busta splashed water on him and the employee threw water back”.
