According to Billboard, Scarface is still in custody as of Sunday morning, and both his reps and the Fulton County’s Sheriff’s office have yet to comment. Online records listed his bond – which, in child support cases, generally coincides with the amount owed – as $482,190.50.
An email to his representative hasn’t been returned. “Scarface was so concerned about accepting his award and not disappointing his fans, he risked being arrested”.

Scarface first rose to prominence in the late ’80s as a member of the group Geto Boys before breaking out as a popular solo artist in the ’90s. He is known for songs such as “Smile”, “My Block” and “I Seen a Man Die”.
