Scott reportedly “cussed out security and told fans to jump the barricade”, prompting police – alongside security – to shut down his set.

One fan was also detained in the incident.

No fans were injured when they jumped the barricades.

On Friday, the first day of the music festival that takes over Grant Park, seven people were arrested, 43 were cited and 85 required emergency medical transport, Stratton said.

Billboard reported the news, which said the Texas rapper’s set lasted just five minutes. Operations have resumed as normal.
