Cape Town – Former England striker Ian Wright feels Marcus Rashford will force his way into the Manchester United starting XI before Christmas.

Rashford is in the squad for the Euro 2017 qualifier against Norway on Tuesday, making his under 21s debut.

“That would seem to be what has happened so far with Marcus and I’m sure that could influence his path”.

Rashford, however, remains in good hands, and has recently been staying behind after training at United’s Carrington HQ to take extra tips from Ibrahimovic.

“But I think it is really early to say where he is going to be and what he is going to be”.

The Saints academy graduate captained England under-21s for the first time when the sides met in Drammen last November, and scored the winning goal from the penalty spot.

“This is the first time that we have had the opportunity to work with him (Rashford)”.

After an impressive start to his senior career at United scoring eight times including twice on his debut on February 25 this year in a 5-1 win against Midtjylland in the Europa league, Rashford made it into the Senior England Squad for their disappointing 2016 Euros campaign and made two substitute appearances.

England top of Group 9 on goal difference ahead of Switzerland and a point above of Norway.
