Jose Mourinho hailed Marcus Rashford’s late contribution against Hull City yesterday and hinted that the 18-year-old has a big role to play for Manchester United this season.

Despite the problems off the pitch, Hull City have made a fine start to their Premier League campaign after claiming six points from their first three matches of the season and Mike Phelan’s men have impressed many with their fearless performances.
“We did everything to win”, Mourinho said.
Marcus Rashford, who came on from the bench in the 71st minute, scored the late victor as his stoppage time goal made the difference between the two sides.

“He’s different than (Wayne) Rooney, he’s different than Zlatan, so everybody is happy with him”.

Captain Curtis Davies led from the front defensively, putting together arguably a man of the match display for his side.
“I’m more than happy with that”. We were very strong and tried to create problems for the opposition. “I know a few things which are private, but I know that there’s an effort to get the takeover over the line”. We have to play to win every game and the mentality is there, the boys are giving everything. I want to be able to say to them when they come back that we have reinforcements.
The 23-year-old was expected to leave Man United after not being included in Jose Mourinho’s plans and he becomes the latest player to leave Old Trafford this summer.
The Tigers vice-chairman Ehab Allam revealed in his programme notes that this could be the club’s last game with the Allam family as owners and he hoped a takeover deal with a Chinese consortium would be completed during the worldwide break.
