Raspberry Pi 3 With Onboard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE
It won’t be super powerful, however, in line with Raspberry Pi’s habit of keeping things at their most basic.

Pics A Raspberry Pi 3 with onboard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) support has emerged today.
The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B was tested in Hull, United Kingdom.
The Pi 2 had a 900MHz Cortex-A7 chip, but the Pi 3 has a 1.2GHz Cortex-A53.
The rest of the features haven’t changed from Pi 2. It has HDMI and Ethernet jacks, four USB ports, a microSD card reader, and a 40-pin connector.
Price and availability are still to be announced, but the catalogue of Pi distributor CPC is now listing the Pi 3 for about $37.
Check out the Raspberry Pi learning resources for some great projects. A new version of Windows 10 IoT Core – the cut down version of Windows 10 focused on building network-connected appliances – will also launch for the board at a later date. The latest and smallest RPi Zero is barely three months old and yet now we have a new, 3rd gen, regular-sized board. But the Raspberry Pi foundation does have a habit of keeping the base price for its flagship products at about $35.
Raspberry Pi 3 is now available for purchase, and this new single board mini-PC aims to take the world by storm with some incredible hardware specs at the same $35 (€32) price. It has spawned the development of robots, electronics, gadgets and even a Bitcoin ATM.
One much requested feature that Upton says has been omitted from the Pi 3 is the addition of a Sata port, which would provide a high speed connection for attaching storage.

In a number of firsts for the device, it’s the foundation’s first 64-bit device and the first one to integrate WiFi and Bluetooth on the platform. For example, a cloud service could tell a Raspberry Pi to turn an air conditioning system on or off based on data collected from smart meters, which could help cut electric bills.
