The average digital audience for week two of the THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL game across Twitter, NFL Mobile from Verizon, Watch NFL Network, NFL Game Pass (International) and authenticated users on CBS Digital platforms was 398,000.

Thursday Night Football ratings were up when the New England Patriots defeated the Houston Texans this week. Thursday’s game averaged 13 million viewers.

The stream can be watched in any country where Twitter operates, except Canada because it has a separate TV rights contract with the NFL.

Twitter’s next streaming game is October 6, when the San Francisco 49ers take on the Arizona Cardinals.

Monday games go through ESPN, and NFL Network owns Thursdays, according to CBS, both of which are paid services. It will play alongside selected tweets about the action. Thursday Night Football is really the ideal fit for this type of platform, seeing as how there is only one NFL game on tonight for fans to talk about.

The NFL struck a deal with Twitter in April to livestream the games.

Here’s everything you need to know to watch tonight’s game.

The deal is a sign that the National Football League is keeping up with the times by ensuring that games are available across multiple platforms.

Sling TV launched NFL Network last month to much fanfare, making it available to customers in its $25 per month “Sling Blue” package that costs $5 more than its package with fewer channels.

“CBS made a few online games available for free last season and might do so again this year, but most of its games will also require a cable or satellite subscription”, according to CBS. But compared with other shows on cable, the viewership is still huge.
