South Carolina Deputy Ben Fields was called into a classroom at Spring Valley High School to remove a student who refused to turn off her phone.

“He was actually sued for false arrest, excessive force and battery in 2007 after a couple accused him of manhandling them”.

Yes, there are consequences to every action, but having your cell phone out or not listening to your teacher doesn’t mean you are slammed against the floor and dragged out of a room while your classmates watch.

Raven Symone is at the center of yet another controversy after expressing her unpopular opinion about the assault at Spring Valley.

Symone then brought up previous complaints about Fields, citing a lawsuit from eight years ago.

“The girl was told multiple times to get off of her phone”. Because he or she was raised by you-a flawless parent? That’s ridiculous. But at the same time, you gotta follow the rules in school.

But she seems to believe that the responsibility of avoiding the assault was on the female student, and claims that if the student had followed the rules “this shouldn’t even be a problem to begin with”. Raven-Symone added a few facts regarding Officer Fields’ history, while asking what the child was “doin’ on Instagram”.

To close out the heated discussion, Raven attempted to take the high road, saying, “There’s two wrongs”.

Symone has lately been coming under fire for her perceived insensitive and ignorant comments on the The View, but her latest statements have now turned into a major headline.
