“So excited to be a part of the Ravens organization! Time to get to work!” he tweeted.

The Ravens bolstered their offensive line by adding some depth in the form of a four-time Pro Bowler who was a No. 1 overall pick.

The Ravens selected left tackle Ronnie Stanley in the first round of this year’s draft and recently released tackle Eugene Monroe.

Long would provide immediate experience although it remains to be seen how much the injury-plagued veteran has left.

“I’m finally healthy”, Long told ESPN.

Jake Long has been a very consistent player in the National Football League, with 100 games played, and 96 games starting.

“The four-time Pro Bowler played just 11 snaps in four games with the Atlanta Falcons a year ago after tearing his right ACL in back-to-back seasons”.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Ravens have agreed to a deal with veteran Jake Long. When healthy, Long has proven he can be one of the league’s best linemen, and Long did stay healthy last season while sitting on the Falcons’ bench. He started all 74 games in which he played for Miami, but missed six games over his last two years with the team as various injuries began to mount.
