Six plays later, Flacco snuck it in from the 1-yard line to give the Ravens a 26-23 lead.

Justin Tucker kicked a 39-yard field goal on the final play, and the Ravens overcame another record-setting performance by Philip Rivers in a 29-26 victory Sunday. That has not bode well for the Ravens this season and as usual they will lose another close game.

The Baltimore Ravens lamented the loss of standout receiver Steve Smith on Sunday. Zuttah and TE Crockett Gillmore both left with arm injuries for Baltimore.
“I have a feeling Steve Smith will be back”, he said.
LT Eugene Monroe (shoulder) was scratched after leaving the Monday night game against the Cardinals with the injury, It was the 10th game Monroe has missed over the past two seasons in Baltimore. They have been getting production out of Danny Woodhead, but most of his yards have been through the air and after the catch, where he now sits as the leader in yards after the catch.
“He’s got a sore neck, and figure out what that all means”, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said.
“We have a lot of games left”, Rivers said.
“You move on, That’s what you have to do, ” Harbaugh said. “We’ve played good coverage throughout most game, and then we’ll give up a play”.
The Ravens would open the second half with a promising drive that ended in another field goal to tie the game at 16-all.
Neither team has even an average defense, which could make this a high scoring somehow exciting showdown between two bad football teams.
That includes a 503-yard performance against Green Bay and 336 yards and three touchdowns in a loss to Oakland last weekend.
Rivers went 28 for 37 for 301 yards, his franchise-record fifth consecutive 300-yard game.
“Consistency is something you need, something you have to do to be great in this league or in anything really”.
Matthew Stafford threw for 217 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Defensively, the Chargers yield 230.4 yards in passing and 132.1 yards in rushing. “So, I’m going to go out there and call it, and you guys play it.'” Cornerback Jimmy Smith said.
I don’t know what this team has left to play for, and I don’t know how the rest of the season plays out.
Ravens linebacker Elvis Dumervil laughed when told of Smith’s recollection. We can’t feel sorry for ourselves. “Maybe Jimmy was just paying attention this time”.
Now, Baltimore has a boost of confidence and is fully focused on closing out the season on an unprecedented winning streak.
Tucker showed why he is such a valuable commodity against the Chargers. On the ground, Justin Forsett rushed for 36 yards and one touchdown while Javorius Allen added 25 yards. The Ravens are going to do what they’ve always done, come in with a run-first philosophy. This is certainly not the type of Ravens team that we are accustomed to seeing.
