Ravens QB Joe Flacco out for the season with knee injury
The National Football League said on Monday it was investigating as to why St. Louis Rams quarterback Case Keenum was not tested for a possible concussion after smacking his head on the turf in Sunday’s game and staggering to get to his feet. However, nose tackle Brandon Williams stripped Rams running back Todd Gurley of the ball in St. Louis territory and that was the play the Ravens needed to get back in the game. This time it’s St. Louis Rams quarterback Case Keenum.

“I think it was a courageous performance by Joe at the end”.
“I hate the circumstances that they’re falling under”, said Schaub, who has not taken a snap this season. After another defensive stop, Flacco hit tight end Crockett Gillmore for a 46-yard gain to set up a first-and-goal.
“I’m probably still in shock a little bit”, Flacco said, according to the Baltimore Sunday. On third down, Keenum was sacked and fumbled, setting up Baltimore’s game-winning field goal. Regardless of whether he was concussed or not, and it sure looked like he was, Keenum should have been taken out of the game.
After the game, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh announced the news of Flacco’s injury.
Keenum, who got his first start after Nick Foles was benched last week, was 12 of 26 for 136 yards with a touchdown.
Before we get ahead of ourselves and look to the final six games of the 2015 Rams season, lets give out our report card grades for this weeks matchup.
Despite the ACL tear, Flacco will be scheduled to return for the start of next season.
Flacco, who lost for only the second time to the Browns, 23-20 in overtime on October 11, will be out for the season and likely undergo surgery soon to fix the ligament.
-For the Texans, cornerback A.J. Bouye left the game with less than 6 minutes to go in the first half to be evaluated for a concussion.
-COACHING: C. The Ravens were able to overcome several miscues, mainly 10 penalties for 137 yards, to escape with the victory.
Still, the sack production hadn’t come for Upshaw, as Dumervil has been the teeth in the Ravens’ pass rush this season. Wide receiver Kamar Aiken had one of his best games with five catches for 50 yards and a touchdown.
There was a few speculation that officials and the injury spotter did not bring attention to Keenum’s status out of concern for interfering in the game, which was at that point a thrilling 13-13 tie with 1:04 left on the clock, by causing the Rams to lose a timeout or by forcing them to remove their starting quarterback. Fisher did speak but was not asked about the irresponsible decision not to remove Keenum.

The Ravens showed plenty of faith in the group’s run-blocking, though, running 16 times in the second half behind the young line and helping the Ravens mount another fourth quarter comeback.
