Ravens RB Justin Forsett (ankle) officially listed as questionable

Adding Magee to the roster gives the Ravens a few insurance in case Forsett can’t play. The injuries have not helped the team get things going and now they are down a running back with Taliaferro done for the season.

The Baltimore Ravens announced today that they have placed running back Lorenzo Taliaferro on injured reserve with his foot injury, which will end his season prematurely. If Forsett sits out, Javorius Allen could see a heavy workload in a three-down role. He will finish the season with 47 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Allen has rushed for 124 yards, with a 4.8 average per carry this season. That’s assuming that Justin Forsett is a scratch. The news of Taliaferro not playing for the rest of the year comes at a time where the Ravens are unsure if Forsett will play in Week 6 due to a ankle injury. While Forsett looks like a go this week, if he is injured down the line it will be Allen who steps in to start.

The Baltimore Ravens promoted running back Terrence Magee from their practice squad to the active roster Saturday and waived cornerback Charles James II. Subsequently, the Ravens held their lead back out of Wednesday and Thursday’s sessions, but returning Friday bodes well for his Sunday availability.

Apparently not. I expect this to be the beginning of many moves for the Ravens.
