Ravens return blocked field goal on last play, stun Browns

We play hard on special teams. Justin Tucker would add a 49-yard field goal for a 10-0 Ravens edge after one quarter. Davis came in with Cleveland trailing by seven and threw a game-tying touchdown pass in the final minutes.

McCown kept playing despite taking a big hit in the second half, but had to leave the field after throwing an incompletion in the fourth quarter.

A back and forth battle led to the game being tied late in the fourth when Austin Davis relieved Josh McCown, who went down with an injured shoulder, and scored on an impressive 42-yard TD pass to Travis Benjamin.

Outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil was asked whether he had resigned himself to the Baltimore Ravens losing when the Cleveland Browns lined up for a potential winning 51-yard field goal with three seconds remaining.

SPECIAL SPECIAL TEAMS: The Ravens got two TDs on special teams and have now blocked a punt or field goal in five consecutive games.

However, we probably haven’t heard the last of this topic with officials under the microscope more and more every week, due to a series of blown calls late in games.

“He looked open, the “please don’t miss him” he’s so open”, Davis said. A little long, but, still those are pretty good odds…even for the Browns.

He wouldn’t discuss the situation further, saying he’ll talk about it Wednesday when the team returns to practice. “I just wanted to drive out low and stick my hand out and just wait for the play to happen”. The Browns, meanwhile, had 63 net rushing yards. First, their old team left town in the middle of the night one day in 1995 and moved to Baltimore.

The season is over for the Cleveland Browns who now sit in the basement of the National Football League with an atrocious 2-9 record.

The Cleveland Browns will have yet another decision to make regarding their starting quarterback as Josh McCown’s season is likely over.

Outlook: Looking ahead to Week 13, both teams will be back in action on Sunday, December 6 at 1:00 PM ET.

The Browns waived Pryor in order to claim from waivers former Seattle Seahawks running back Robert Turbin, who reached an injury settlement after being placed on injured reserve because of an ankle sprain.
