Ray Allen eyeing return, targets Warriors
They added Kevin Durant, one of the top 3 players in the world, and David West, who’s been a stud in the low post for most of his career.

Ray Allen is considering a comeback and his reps have reached out to Golden State to gauge its interest, ESPN reported . But he is intrigued by the possibility of playing for another championship so in addition to the Warriors, he would consider joining the Cleveland Cavaliers, San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Clippers, sources said. Allen’s representatives have reportedly “reached out” to the Golden State Warriors.
The Warriors don’t really need shooting because they have the best-shooting backcourt in National Basketball Association history and now the best-shooting big man in National Basketball Association history. The Clippers and Spurs have also been mentioned. They have enough defensive talent and depth to cover for him at that end of the floor, and his shooting stroke could only benefit from so much space in the corners as defenses huddle to the Splash Brothers and Durant.
The 18-year veteran played two seasons with LeBron James when they were attempting to win championships with the Miami Heat. The Warriors are said to be unsure if they want to sign Allen.

An NBA champion with both the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat, Allen averaged 18.9 points over his career. During that regular season, Allen appeared in 73 games, averaging about 10 points per game and shooting 37% from deep. He will turn 41 on July 20.
