‘Real Housewives’: Jacqueline makes a crack about Teresa having a ghostwriter
“Real Housewives of New Jersey” Season 7 premiere features the emotional reunion of Teresa Giudice and her daughters. There were also glimpses of Teresa’s family getting ready for her arrival, as her daughters (Gia, 14; Gabriella, 11; Milania, 9; and Audriana, 6) decorated homemade signs like “We missed you!” and “We love you!” and “Welcome home Mommy!”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Teresa Giudice is a household name thanks to her best-selling cookbooks, as well as her controversial personal life.
There was even a moment of self-awareness, as Teresa probably realized she’s luckier than most incarcerated parents, because Joe (scheduled to start serving his almost four-year sentence in March) took the girls for weekly visits. “It is going to be hard for me to figure out how to be a modern woman and go into the work field, but keep those traditional values because they really don’t go together”.
Teresa said no when host Andy Cohen asked if she missed Jacqueline, and, on the premiere, Jacqueline told the cameras, “That was when I was like, ‘Yeah, so what am I fighting for?”
Will Teresa’s return bring more drama to the group? “The day I came home it felt like a dream, ‘Am I really home?’ But it was like I never left”, Giudice said. She was sentenced to nearly a year behind bars while her husband, Joe Giudice, also failed to file tax returns for the past several years in spite of being required to report his plea agreement. Next, Jacqueline is back as a full-time housewife, along with Teresa’s sister-in-law, Melissa. “I had the paparazzi driving up on the side”, Giudice described the experience to CNN. Working with her hubby as the contractor, Melissa also has her assistant (business partner?), who looks like a mixture of Kim D. and Kim G. Momma wants the respect her children give their dad, and honestly, the lady deserves it. Although I may not love her music career (who among us can’t stop singing “On Display”, though?), I do appreciate her ability to power through family troubles and her husband’s constant need to rid poison from his body. “My poor babies, I know they felt lost”, said the mom.
One just gets that feeling when Jacqueline proceeds to make Teresa’s release from Danbury Correctional Facility all about Jacqueline.
The theme of looking back continues when Melissa Gorga re-introduces us to her family, acting as the Ghost of Christmas Past. Her letter to Jacqueline began with an awkward statement, but it eventually shifted to a much friendlier tone.
“Heard you were asking about me”, the note reads.
Meanwhile, two newbie Housewives dropped in to celebrate: Siggy Flicker and Dolores Catania. I won’t be naive anymore.

Moments later she yelled for her gaggle of daughters, yelling, “Girls, I’m home!” “I can’t believe I’m home”, said the ex con. “I’m not going to make the same mistake twice”.
