Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have been found guilty of irregularities
Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has voiced his dismay with FIFA’s decision to ban the Santiago Bernabeu side from registering new players in the next two complete transfer windows.

The news comes after investigations concerning minor players who were involved and participated in competitions with the clubs between 2007 and 2014 (for Atletico) and 2005 and 2014 (for Real).
Real Madrid, the soccer club responsible for the two most expensive player signings of all-time, must effectively sit out the transfer market for a year following alleged violations tied to the registration of under-18 players, Federation Internationale de Football Association announced on Thursday.
A spokesman from the world football organisation defended their strict regulations after they banned Atletico and Real Madrid, stating that they are enforcing strict rules so clubs can not abuse the system as they have done so in the past.
“The two clubs were found to have violated several provisions concerning the global transfer and first registration of minor players”. The clubs have also been fined with Atletico due to pay £622,000 and Real set to pay £249,000 as part of the punishment.
Barcelona were given the same penalty in April 2014 for also breaching rules on the transfer of under-18 players.
Both teams released statements saying they will appeal FIFA’s sanction.
According to Jose Angel Sanchez, the same fate could befall Premier League clubs, but the Real Madrid director didn’t specify which clubs were now under threat.
“It’s simple, they made a mistake and the club definitely has the right to appeal”, said the manager.
The Madrid giants have a number of players on loan at other clubs but they will not suffer as a outcome of the ban.
“I don’t think Atletico will be very harmed by this ban because they signed a lot of players a year ago and this window is still open”. This has been confirmed on various occasions by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

The next transfer window is this summer and the following is in January 2017 and both teams have 90 days to fix their contractual obligations to the youth players.
