Real Madrid vs. Villarreal: Time, Channel & Lineup
Last season Gareth Bale scored 13 league goals for Real Madrid as they failed to win the league and scored 15 goals in the previous to that. At 23-6-4 (75 points), Real Madrid has a legit shot at snatching the domestic title out of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid’s hands.

Saturday’s 5-1 demolition of Getafe was Real’s seventh consecutive league victory, a run that includes their dramatic Clasico win at Camp Nou earlier this month.
Their head-to-head form, though, is completely one-sided with Real enjoying an undefeated stretch at the Bernabeu that now spans 14 home games with their visitors.
“We know we haven’t won anything yet and have it all to play for…”, he said.
Real Madrid is currently trailing leaders Barcelona by a point and considering the fact that the Catalans have now lost three leaue games on the trot, they would be looking to take advantage of any more slip ups by winning all their remaining five games.
Like local rivals Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid find themselves in an interesting position as they look to land a La Liga and Champions League double, but must ensure they slay Villarreal in order to capitalise on any apparent Barcelona demise. “We’re all excited and enjoying this great moment, but we hope and believe the best is still to come”, he added. “We need to do everything possible to win all the games left and then we’ll see how it goes”. “We must continue with the belief we can do something”.

Villareal pose the biggest threat, with Madrid already losing the first fixture of the season against them. Their last game was a 2-1 loss to Rayo Vallecano. “He’ll not be involved as he’s got an overload but we hope it’s only that”.
