Real to buy back Morata – Juventus chief

Real Madrid have announced their intention to activate the buy-back clause in Alvaro Morata’s contract with Juventus.

“Real Madrid will exercise their right to repurchase [Morata]”, Marotta told reporters.

Indeed, Real Madrid are expected to activate a buyback clause before selling on the Spain worldwide for considerably more, potentially as much as £40million, as reported by The Daily Mail.

After weeks of speculation over the Spaniard’s future, it has now been confirmed that he will leave the Italian champions this summer and return to the Bernabeu, two years after moving to Turin. “In the coming days, they will put it in writing”, Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta Marotta said in comments reported by Gazzetta dello Sport.
