Reasons Doctor Strange Is The Least Anticipated MCU Movie

This is fairly standard practice for Marvel, who tend to stagger release dates internationally, generally favouring the United Kingdom and other European territories over the U.S. on who gets the first look – a habit that started with 2010’s Iron Man 2.

Compared to the 147-minute length of Captain America: Civil War, and especially the 182-minute running time of the extended Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition, Doctor Strange should go by in the blink of an eye.

“Doctor Strange” follows the story of Dr. Stephen Strange who, after losing the use of his hands in an accident, attempts to learn the ways of ancient magic and master the manipulation of parallel dimensions. If you’re in the UK then congratulations, you’ll get to see Marvel’s Doctor Strange a whole 10 days earlier than fans in the United States. It remains unclear is Harmon will be credited for his work, he’s no stranger to uncredited touch-ups (Kung Fu Panda), but it would be something special to see his name in a Marvel movie.

Starring Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, Scott Adkins and Tilda Swinton, the film is directed by Scott Derrickson, who also penned the screenplay alongside C. Robert Cargill.
