The odds makers said a low scoring Super Bowl usually translates into success for the house when it comes to the so-called prop bets – things like will so-and-so score more than so-many touchdowns, or will there be a safety, a 2-point conversion, or an overtime?
Asked what he told the likely-to-be-retiring 39-year-old, Norman said, “He’s one of the G.O.A.T.s (greatest of all time), man. He’ll go down as one of the best at everything”. And judging by how much the five-time NFL MVP’s game has deteriorated through age and injury, a decision to do anything but leave pro football as a champion would be foolhardy.

The first quarter was near ideal for Denver, with Manning driving them 64 yards on 10 plays with the opening kickoff before settling for a 34-yard field goal. “Our defense, you have to put them up there with the best ever”.
NEW YORK (AP) – Setting television viewership records with the Super Bowl has become nearly routine, but this year’s average of 111.9 million viewers for Denver’s victory over Carolina is down from the past two years.
It seemed as though Newton and the Panthers were being foiled at every turn, prevented from taking advantage of the few opportunities the Broncos were giving them, let alone getting any luck of their own.
Newton obviously was reeling from the loss after leading Carolina to a 17-1 record entering the game. This is even in the demo and up in total viewers (from 4.26 million) from a telecast of “Late Late Show” three years ago on Super Bowl night (with Craig Ferguson hosting).
It didn’t help that Newton’s receivers dropped passes and the running game never got going against Denver’s stout front. “San Fran has to play eight games on that field, so they better do something to get it fixed. We were just trying to spoil it, and we just came up on the (short) end of the stick, but much respect to him and his future endeavours”.

If that isn’t enough, how about when Beyoncé used her spot in the show to announce her upcoming world tour, causing everyone to lose their minds and just give her all their money now.
