Record US Powerball winners still unknown

With each state setting its own lottery rules, the Tennessee retailer, in a Memphis suburb, received US$25,000 and the Florida retailer, in a tiny coastal town, will get US$100,000.
“All these years, I’ve wondered what it would be like to call my mom and tell her I won the lottery”, he said.

Robinson said he checked the number four times and told his wife he’d only believe they won after hearing from state lottery officials that a winning ticket was purchased in Munford. The California victor has until 5 pm PT Friday to claim the prize before the long weekend.
