ReCore & Sea of Thieves won’t be at Gamescom
Gamescom has been on my mind since early June, when Microsoft first announced that many of my most anticipated Xbox titles would be no-shows at e3, instead choosing to highlight them at this years upcoming event. According to VG247, the Microsoft Xbox Gamescom briefing will take place Tuesday August 4, ahead of the official start date of the convention.

ReCore is slated for a spring 2016 release, exclusively for the Xbox One.
“The 60 minute live show will be hosted by Larry Hryb, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson, Graeme Boyd, Xbox Live’s AceyBongos, and Julia Hardy, and will include guest stars and industry elites, including guests from top game studios that are creating unbelievable games for Xbox One and Windows 10”.
We reported yesterday on a rumored list of games that could come out to Xbox One with the Games with Gold offerings for the month of August 2015, but it turns out the list was not legitimate.
So what exactly is Microsoft bringing in the bag?
We also know that Crackdown and Scalebound will also be present at Gamescom, the latter which promises to be a true AAA game.

“[Sea of Thieves] & Recore won’t be at GC, another demo so close to E3 is just tough on production”, he said. We may even see Halo 5: Guardians or Rise of the Tomb Raider.
