New York Red Bulls are in group east and are fourth on the table with 23 points in the 18 games they have played, two points below Montreal Impact and above on goal difference from Toronto FC whereas Portland Timbers are in group west and are seventh on the table with 24 points in the 18 games they have played, one point below Whitecaps FC and two points above SJ Earthquakes.
